A.J. Hawk is suddenly available

Bengals released him today.

I always liked Hawk. He's not a super star but how would he do as Irvin's replacement? He could come fairly cheap too.

How the Hawks use their SLB he is in coverage 30%+ and Hawk is way to slow to cover TE in this league now lol. I still believe they draft a LB in the first 100 Picks ( 4 picks ).

Wish the Hawks would have picked up the 5th year option for Irvin, Every year after his switch to LB he improved and i do not see that changing. he was on the verge of being a STAR. Not bad for someone in a new position. With how often he was in pass coverage the fact that you can't really remember any blown coverage's by him is telling. Dude was a freakish Athlete.
