We have pretty much lost 1 reg every year, and with the low traffic that this site gets, that is fatal.

And this year not only took a major reg, it also pretty much killed all the semi-regs and occasional posters.

Stokes! How's the son? How's life?

The boy is doing well. working at ULA in Denver. Just had a rocket launch from Vandenberg last Saturday, pretty cool. He wants to move back to California, though. My daughter is in grad school at SJSU, Justice Studies.

I am walking 8.5 miles a day, should surpass 3000 miles for the year this year. Too bad In-n-Out is on my walking route most days.

Keeping busy otherwise.

Kinda bummed Bochy put in that scrub reliever. Shoulda managed this game like a World Series game, all hands on deck. Hell let Bum pitch an inning.

Moronta has been pitching well. Almost earning himself a spot on the opening 25.

Matt Cain’s career with the Giants, by the numbers

Matt Cain came up in 2004. Madison Bumgarner came up in 2010. They are currently tied with 104 career wins. That has way more to do with Cain’s run support than Bumgarner’s excellent career.

They should consider adding 5 innings when its zero runs (although I understand that the point of a QS is partially about going deep, by 21st century standards).
