Hope all has been well folks. Been awhile. Thought I'd check in to to pay my respects to Matt Cain. Hell of a Giant.

No matter how bad it's gotten, I'll still miss seeing him pitch.

In reading the farewells and remembrances, I am particularly struck by the number of players who have said, essentially, that while Cain was getting Cained regularly and often, he never complained about it.

In reading the farewells and remembrances, I am particularly struck by the number of players who have said, essentially, that while Cain was getting Cained regularly and often, he never complained about it.

KNBR has brought a bunch of stats this week on that. I don’t remember the exact numbers, but there were something like 50 times he left the game with the lead but the bully gave it up. Another 50 where he had a QS but took the loss or ND.

I guess I'm just north of the San Diego area (although I thought that MLB blocked me out before for San Diego games). I assumed that since mlb.tv is making all games this weekend free that they'd not care about local blackouts. Sorry Stokes!
