Urge to kill... fading... fading... fading - rising! Fading... fading... gone.

LOL

By the way just got a chance to read the whole LIVIN thread which got pretty heavy over there. It basically comes down to dum dums vs smart people, with Nolan taking the dummy side (he's not dumb, we have to admit that, just an old douche)

7 walks....man I'm glad I know the outcome of this game before I watch it... I'd be pulling my hair out.

Simpson quote. Treehouse of Horror 1994.

Yea, read that thread earlier. Voices of reason overall, except for that dumb 17-year-old.

BTW: Can there be a new rule that SF and/or GIANTS can't be used in a poster name anymore?

It wasn't too stressful; more like a feeling of being resigned to one's fate. Just seemed like a matter of time before Sanchez gave up a bloop that would lead to a few runs...

Surprisingly, it never happened.

One more point: Nolan likes to cozy up with some real low-lifes over there. I can put up with his strange observations and Panda hating, but his desire to get attention at times by any means necessary gets very old.

He reminds me of an uncle of mine who used to always say racist shit at XMas and threaten to step on my head. He wasn't racist or violent, just desperate for attention.

I listened to the 9th in car - up until the last out. I was cursing out bochy most of the way.

Nolan is dangerous, natural born manipulator of pitch fork carry dullards.

Perfect analysis.

And kudos on a nice Simpsons quote.

Yea, he seemed to be doing his best Dusty-in-the-playoffs impression. Terrible moves.

He would have been torn apart if the Giants would have lost this one.

Yeah I don't think this was Bochy's finest hour.

What a great game. To win this kind of game, on the road, vs the division leader, so much tension, so many lost close games vs them. It's really cool.

I really think Bochy's strategic moves have cost at least a couple of games - maybe as many as four. I'll never make a big deal about it, because it's hard to quantify how his clubhouse demeanor wins games.

I've often pondered this. I think if you set a baseline and say an average manager is even over the year, a bad one probably only 'costs' you 2-3 games tops, and a good one 'gets' you 2-3.

I actually think Bochy is average.

Huge win. Puts all the pressure on SD. Giants can play a little looser. Time to get greedy.

Probably true. I'm grading Bochy against perfection. Probably unfair.
