Whenever the Giants have give aways, they always say “a special event ticket is required”. Do you have to pay a premium to get the “free give-away”?

Whenever the Giants have give aways, they always say “a special event ticket is required”. Do you have to pay a premium to get the “free give-away”?

Yeah and typically it's the bad seats. So where you could normally pay $10 for the cheap seats off a 3rd party, you pay $30 or whatever for the 'special' giveaway. Seems to me just a ways to charge more for the cheap seats

They do that for the niche ones, for example 'college night' where they design SF Giants hats in the local college colors and sell it as hanging out with fellow alum in the same section.

Still just a scheme
