What an incredible performance for Bumgarner, and the bats showed up!

Bumgarner shines in 9-0 shutout victory in NY

Madison Bumgarner took off the gloves today and got his hands dirty like the country boy he is throwing a complete game shutout 9-0 . One of the great pitching performances of the year.

A tremendous effort today by the Giants with Posey and Pence accounting for 5 runs , 7 hits, and 7 RBI's togehter. Posey had 4 hits almost hitting for the cycle. Bum had a hit and 2 runs scored.Pablo and Belt each added a RBI.

The story was Bumgarner who only gave up 2 hits and notched 10 K's. He was the man in the middle of the field doing his thing bringing in the crops and the much needed win. There is something to getting your hands down in the dirt and feeling the earth.
