Blanco's gotta make that play
Was that on the Gattis triple? Can't see the game and was surprised to see that he, of all Astros, hit one.Blanco's gotta make that play

Blanco had a tough play but makable, deep fly ball at the wall, bounced out of his glove
I couldn't load the site for a while, and Bum was rolling. So I took it for a sign

Factoid of the night: After the Mariners won in the 10th inning tonight, the home teams ended up winning every game, all 15 on the schedule. Never has there been a day the home teams have won 15 of 15.
Damn, that's a mind blowing stat....kind of cool it happened, a unique thing....but also kind of surprised it HASN'T happened before from a sheer random night.
Have the visitors ever gone 15/15?
PLAYOFF MODE BABY, but unless things change we're going to need some help getting there, like when the Pads tanked in '10.Bumgarner just filthy today, best start of the season?
1. Gregor Blanco (L) CF
2. Matt Duffy (R) 3B
3. Buster Posey (R) C
4. Hunter Pence (R) RF
5. Brandon Belt (L) 1B
6. Brandon Crawford (L) SS
7. Justin Maxwell (R) LF
8. Ehire Adrianza (S) 2B
9. Madison Bumgarner (R) P
Oxy finally sits; Panik and the 'Sac supposedly "close."
Very few ABs vs. Kazmir, Herk 2-5 with a bomb.
Altuve, Gattis, Lowrie with some mild Bum ownage.
Stro those stroing Stros.....3-2 good guys.
So without actually calculating it feels like 1/2 of the posts in this thread are 'So and so on pace to go x, Other guy to go y'
But am I the only one that finds those meaningless? Each inning changes it, it doesn't really tell you anything useful about how long a guy is going to go. It's false precision. Guy throws 8 pitches in the first, uh oh he's going 9....really? Nothing different will happen later?
Guy throws 28 in the first...on pace to go 4.1....really? Yeah, if he throws 28 per inning yeah he will go 4, don't need Fangraphs to tell me that. If a guy gets through every inning throwing 8-10 pitches he's gonna pitch a shutout, I get it.
Kaz started the thread to go '10'. Now he's at 5.1, but after the 5th he's more like 6.1. What exactly does this 'stat' help us with?
I don't want Peavy to EVER go 7 IPs. He has shown over and over that he is a 6-inning pitcher, period.PLAYOFF MODE BABY, but unless things change we're going to need some help getting there, like when the Pads tanked in '10.
Moses can't pull a Hicks on us and disappear, and The Peaved One has to reach down deep and give a 7-8/game.
FYWW needs a gut check: NO MORE FUCK UPS. JA's last outing was a great start!
Sac and Nori coming back soon.
The stint on the DL will help Oxy's knees and he'll no longed be a liability.

With Bum being Bum (high probability), Leake being what we traded for (#2/#3 type), Heston continuing to be a stud (medium probability) and Peavy offering a consistent solid 6, I think we will be alright. The #5 slot can either be a bully day, or find the hot hand between Cain, Vogey, or Petit. In the playoffs, we only need 4 starters anyway, and getting more than 4 IPs for a starter in those games is gravy.
I am not concerned about the offense. There are holes, yes, but overall, the O is not going to be the problem with this team.
