There was someone on one of these forums that was going to do that, I think it was NBA and we had the mock but I don't think the OP ever followed through with it. I think it is a great idea.

Is it all-time players?

I think it can be done. I have like a three year old version of the game which I guess for purposes of these parameters wouldn't matter lol. But they release a new version each year.

And they have the ability to set lineups right and left

a couple hindsight 20-20 mistakes we made this draft

1. should have done 6 SP and 6 RP
2. Should have had 3 SP HOFers, and one RP HOF

Agreed on the 3 SP HOF's at least. That's a pretty big pool to narrow down to only 24 guys

Yeah it looks like the new one is $20. It definitely looks like there are all-time players and I'm sure you can do fantasy drafts like in any video game. I have the new NBA2K19. I could do something like this for NBA.

Just spitballing but it would be cool to see what a simulation would say. Could always turn off injuries also to avoid that headache.

I might actually play around with this tonight. I will just use one of our recent NBA drafts and sim one season and see how it goes. Not sure if I could filter the league down to 10 or 12 teams, might just have to do an entire manual fantasy draft lol.

But the only thing is how are these players rating in this game...would have to look at a player rating all-time list just to see. Would be a lot of fun

The one thing about the baseball though is you'd have to take their peak season so that could skew results for our purposes now that I think about it.

Would probably have to do a draft with that in mind.

Because you can't just do Babe Ruth career you take Babe Ruth 1926 or something. I know that for sure for that game.

Maybe The Show has all time rosters tho

Here is a list for NBA2K....I think there is someway to filter out the players so there are no duplicates lol. Lebron is a 99 on the Cavs and Heat.

Same with NBA. It would just be fun, not sure how accurate and of it would be bc like you said it is the prime of their career. I guess all players in their primes basically

How unfortunate for him if he truly was clean he played in that era.
Yeah I'm kinda of the opinion that no one with elite power from that era was totally clean. You see those power number spikes from 1999-2004 for me that's a tell tale sign. Hope I'm wrong!
