Champion - $50,000 Hoop Cash
2nd Place - $35,000 Hoop Cash

Since it's been a few rounds since I've taken him when people ask me who's the most underrated active baseball player I always say Beltre. (granted he just retired) Dude has 5 gold gloves, 477 home runs and has over 3000 hits. There's only six guys with 500 HR's and 3000 hits and he came decently close to that club.

Just seems like he's been incredibly under the radar to put up those kind of stats. I mean dude finished 2nd in MVP voting in 04 and didn't even make the all star team lol.

Clear HOFer… But I would go the opposite, I think his offense is very over-rated... Now, of course the overall player is based on defense too, and he is the 2nd Best defensive 3B of all time...

But just offensively, I think he is very over-rated...

One concern with his offense is a relatively low walk rate I will grant you that.

Just thought I'd float out what people thought of Beltre given he just retired and has to be the least talked about 3000 hit guy of my lifetime anyway. Just seems had he played for better Dodger teams or in NY/Boston he would be seen much differently. Was on a couple of really good Ranger teams I guess.
