By the way, Fabian, I believe just got activated about 5 days ago. He put up some solid numbers in the AZL on rehab and has started hitting well in his first 4 games with SJ this year. Hopefully, he looks a lot better in his 2nd tour of the Cal League.

I assume you live in Patterson, so it makes sense for being a Modesto fan. I grew up in Fresno, but my dad worked for Modesto FD for about 16 years. We would catch at least a half dozen games in Modesto every year for most of my teenage years and got to see a lot of future A's players go through there in the 90s.

80 pitches in 5 innings. 51 strikes. Pretty good for an A+ start. Listening on the radio, no indication of him struggling.

Drod w/4+ inn and 2r on 2 dingers, and Frisbee w/4+ inn and looked great, and hitting 97 on the gun. 15 Ks between them and 2 bb. Bart 0-4, but Ramos with a monster mash and a 1st inn smash to 3rd that laid the fielder out for a single. He was hurting. I would like to see the advanced hitting metrics on HRamos: speed off the bat.

Oh, Bart took a foul tip off. His throwing hand, but seemed to shake it off.
