I just walked seven miles in 105 degree heat here in the central valley. Thank the Maker there is no humidity here, the dry heat is hot enough!

For the year, I am averaging 9.5 miles a day. The new hips are working well.

And suddenly, the NL has a bunch of good hitting 1st basemen. The AL, not so much. With Miguel Cabrera done for the year, there are only two regular 1st basemen in the AL with OPS north of .800.
