Nah. His starters (save Bum) do not deserve the benefit of the doubt. They are all #5 starters, and should be treated thusly.I think Bochy is too quick on the hook for his starters. The bullpen is going to get worn down by it.
But you lean too hard on the bullpen and they are going to wear out. Besides, how do some of these younger guys learn to work through jams if they get the hook every time they first get in one?
