They aren't going to beat the Warriors. You don't think after this year, they don't get rid of those guys to get LeBron James...?

If LeBron wants to go to a team, that team will make room for him no matter the pieces that need to be moved. The exception here is the Warriors.

Also, if James wants rings, I think he'd be open to taking less then a max.
I think that rule applies only to Dan Gilbert.
The man is a soon to be billionaire.
If, for example, he's only making 20M, in salary, it changes his life 0%.
Another ring or 2 puts him in legit GOAT conversation, which to him and his legacy would be priceless.

Sure I would, it would just be different. Pacers played hard and overcame the slight slant the refs gave to Cleveland.

You're a silly goose if you don't think the NBA wants Cleveland in the Finals. You're also blind if you don't think there is a little tampering going on in situations like this, isn't an NBA ref in prison for such a thing?

He's in prison for helping gamblers not helping the NBA determine the Finals

I think you are right, its a negotiation talk. Also, LeBron gets money from endorsements and I think he has side businesses. He's already rich, can get money in endorsements, and you are right, rings are what matter to him.

Fuck! I thought we might not have to see James' whiny mug for another year.

A year? How about the regular season. And oh yeah, how about the offseason drama of where's he going?

There is no getting away from him I guess. Hopefully he's learned his lesson about having his own TV show to announce where he's going.

I heard tickets to The 'Decision part 2' is so hot right now that they've decided to host it at Quicken Loans Arena to accommodate the demand.

Like he's never changed his mind before lol.
I believe he said that when he was the King of the superteam era.
He's now on a 4 seed team in the EC, played 3000 minutes, went 7 games in round 1, and basically had to carry the team by himself.

I think his ego would prevent him from taking less than the max. It would be up to CP to sacrifice even more.

Just my opinion.
