I think the announcers touched on it on the last homestand. He wasn't really raking, just balls finding empty spaces in the defense.

When he's on, Posey is driving the ball to right center and backspinning bombs.

That's an OPS of .472! Which is why I thought Bochy would give him a day off yesterday.
