The record for RBI's in a 9 inning game is 12. Craw has a ways to go. Damn 12 RBI's is a career for a lot of guys. Mark Whitten last to do it.

Casilla maybe.

Belt? With Goldy, Gonzalez and Rizzo in the same league?

Well, still a lot of time left, maybe 1 or two of them fall off, or Belt goes even more bananas. But right now he's probably behind them.

Absolutely he has a chance. But at this moment, I don't think he even belongs in the conversation. I was stretching, I think, by even mentioning Panik as an outside option. with Gordon and Kendrick, Panik has next to no chance this year.

Machi gets a important out. Don't want the lead to get whittled down in the 6th

The only thing left tonight is Panik getting a hit so all the starters have a hit.

The last all star the Giants have produced at each position...

(I am researching this on the fly, so I might not be 100%)

C- Buster Posey
1B - Will Clark
2B - Robby Thompson
3B - Pablo Sandoval
SS - Royce Clayton
OF - Chili Davis, Gary Matthews, Dave Kingman
P - Madison Bumgarner

How pitiful is that outfield? We have to go back to the early 70s to find our 3rd all star.

I was at the game at Dodger Stadium when Fernando Tatis hit two grand slams in the same inning, off the same pitcher, Chan Ho Park. Still have the scorecard, and bug my friends who are Dogs fans with it once in a while. That's 8 RBI in ONE INNING!

Box Score of Game played on Friday, April 23, 1999 at Dodger Stadium

Um, I must be missing some kind of very very subtle joke here, but....Barry Bonds? :noidea:

Sarge! Who can forget the OF of Sarge (LF), Maddox (CF) and Bobby Bonds (RF)?
