believe they have to take a player from each organization. (30 players)

fill it out with the entry draft and international/college signees. (+7 for entry draft, have the option of signing 13 more if they wanted, down to 10 now since they've signed 3)
Thanks!

From Bill Meltzer:

With the Flyers not having a clear-cut third defenseman (after Shayne Gostisbehere and Radko Gudas) to protect in the NHL Expansion Draft, they could have an opportunity to pre-emptively make a trade with NHL organizations who have deep bluelines and otherwise could end up losing a quality (and fairly young) player for nothing. Teams such as the Anaheim Ducks or Minnesota Wild could be among those in such a position. At present, the Flyers' third protected slot on the blueline will default to either Andrew MacDonald or Brandon Manning. While the organization hopes to see a couple of their homegrown prospects grab an NHL job next season, that does not mean they should (or would) be closed off to the idea of adding a young vet if it would upgrade the current group.

From me, not Bill: Anyone in the organization who suggests they should protect MacDonald for any reason should be shot on sight.

i would be very surprised if they picked him, but GMGM seems legit interested in taking him. So if he does, hell yes. Seems like a bad decision, but hey, more power to him.
I thought they had let him walk, now McPhee is interested again could this be a ploy be the new kids on the block.

Fome me, not Bill: Anyone in the organization who suggests they should protect MacDonald for any reason should be shot on sight.
If we could upgrade in any way i am all for it.

This is coming from Sam Carchidi. I'm not sure how you guys feel about him as a writer or an insider? He also has Patrick going #1, which means we will have Nico. I'm very cool with that.

Sam's ok. His points usually have been pretty reasonable.

I'm more thinking that McPhee might be interested in Stolarz, and is trying to trick the Flyers into protecting Neuvirth. Why would you really come out and express interest in a particular player?

Very true. I was thinking the same. Is Stolarz protected?

If not then Mason is the number 1 again and it's another wasted year IMO
I have to think Hextall will protect Stolarz? He would have to, no? Cap saving and Stolarz seems to be grooming pretty well in a solidified NHL goaltender.

Went to an ECHL Florida Everblades playoff game a couple of years ago and started yelling, "sucks" as each member of the opposing team's starting lineup was announced. Most people just looked at me like I was nuts. One other guy, must have been a Philly transplant, did quickly join in.
