I'm in for golf as well. Even though I'm horrible at it it's the highlight of the weekend!

I vote we go to the landfill course from two years ago... they treated us like rock stars and it wasn't as busy as last year's. They were kind of dicks at last year's course...

i think last year the course was just very busy. It's hard to get a big group of us all going around the same time. Add to that that we had some pretty shatty golfers and the pace can be fudged up. A standard pace has to be kept on courses. That's prolly why they were like that.

As for the course from two years ago, I agree it was a great experience and treatment. They even had that extra 9 holes we were able to fuck around on afterwards. I wouldn't be opposed to that one again.

I got shut out from Greektown, but was able to book a room at MotorCity Casino Hotel.

No biggie. At least this year I'll know what you guys look like.

There seems to be very little interest in golf this year. Perhaps we should try something different. I suggest Whirleyball on Saturday instead of golf.

So we're just a little over a week away from the home opener fellas. I think we need to figure out when everyone is getting to the D, and what the plans are.

Are we golfing on Saturday? Whirlyball? Something else?

Also, what are plans for Friday? I may not be getting in til later in the day so the plans for during the day on Friday may not include myself. I'll know more closer to the day.

I expect to arrive in the area around 4pm but depending upon other arrival times and plans may not be available until the evening hours (around 8-9pm I would say). We have some flexibility in our schedule so it will depend on what the plans are.

My wife will be turning 40 a matter of a couple days after the weekend so on Saturday night, afternoon, sometime during the weekend, I would like to go to a place where we might be able to do something with that. Friday night could also work for that I suppose.

I'm planning on being in the D by 12 on Friday. I'll need to know what I need to do as far as getting into the room we reserved. I just plan on doing a little shopping or something that Friday while we're waiting for everyone to arrive.

I'm leaving the Sat plan up to you guys, I really don't care what we do. I continue to suck at golf but oh well.

I suggest we celebrate ur hair metal loving wife's b-day celebration for Friday night. If things get a lil crazy, we won't really have to wake up early Saturday like we will on Sunday for tailgating. Possibly do dinner Friday night then go wherever she wants to go.

We won't be there till Saturday morning, wife gets out of work at 3:30 and it's a 6 hour drive, plus we have a detour to drop our dogs off with nephew on the way down, so we're staying with family in Saginaw on Friday night.

I vote either golf or whirlyball on Saturday... whatever the group picks is fine by me though...
