The Whirleyball place in Clinton Twp says its $160/hr and if you book for 2 hrs or more you can bring in your own alcohol. We normally spend $50 on golf and another $20 each on beer. The game plays 10 people and we have 8 regulars (me, Micro, Lionstop, TP, Zwic, Smitty, Max, 68) plus Swarm was going to join us. I'm betting he's got a buddy who'd love to get wrecked and then play Whirleyball with us. That would be 10. If we rented for three hrs it would cost $48/person and we'd save on beer/liquor since we can bring in our own. We could play from maybe 3-6pm then head out to dinner. If we did that and some people still wanted to golf that morning you'd have time to do so. I know Zwic really wanted to golf. I would be fine doing both if others did want to golf.

I aged Whirlyball at the end of July when I was I town for a meeting. It was actually a ton of fun. That and a poker tournament might be a blast.

Oooooo poker. That's actually a great idea. I've got a couple chip sets I can bring.

I'd be in for some poker if everyone else wants to play. That could be a helluva tradition to start...

I'd be down for shooting some dice, breakdancing, drinking 40's and eating rice with chopsticks.:suds:

I'd be down with playing some Boy George while we gather in a circle and watch the night fade away.

I'd be down with everyone going into thier rooms and sit on the toilet while we call each other on the phone and ask how is everyone feeling at the moment.

It seems to me that it would be hard for a 7' Chinese dude to break dance. :noidea:

Just an FYI.....if we are going to play Whirleyball that requires a reservation, you cant just walk in and expect to play so a decison needs to be made immediately on what we are doing. Zwic is out on Saturday for anything due to his work schedule. Whirleyball is best with 10 players because that is how many cars there are on the court. You can play with less but that leaves cars sitting idle on the track. If we choose to play that, which is my vote as opposed to golf then we need a headcount quick and a reservation.

Available players as it stands now are me, Micro, Smitty, 68, Max, Lionstop, TP. Swarm was planning to hang out with us on Saturday but his life is pretty active right now so I am not sure if he still plans to do that. If he does that makes 8 but finding two more would be helpful. We need to make a decision quickly. Maybe Swarm has some friends who would want to play.

My official vote is for skydiving, but I'm in for whatever the rest of you want to do.

I like the idea od doing whirlyball in the early to mid afternoon. Then we can go have dinner and drinks and then head back to the hotel for some poker. We could have a multi-table tourney since we will have so many people. I'm sure the ladies will wanna play too.
