Anthony Davis, 49ers swing tackle?

earlier i was calling for Davis to practice at LT, and maybe even play there during pre-season? Not surprising to anyone he ends up being the Swing OT. If he has to move to LT now, what would we expect will happen?

Anyway, i know it ain't this easy to do, only easy to say. We'll see how it goes with Staley?

Alex Smith has over 300 yards passing right now and just brought the Chiefs back to force OT. Let's all remember that come Monday night as likely watch a struggle to reach even 300 yards passing. Traded a QB that improved ever year for one that has done nothing but regress -_-;

Im so excited. Yesterday was such a tease. I have Hyde on my fantasy team. Need a big game from him. I really cant wait to see this team play. Just dont look as bad as the Browns.

Last I heard was that he doesn't want to play guard. Tiller is going to start at Guard and Davis is going to be a backup tackle.

Kelly doesn't rule out using Kap off bench as runner

agree with not having to change your game plan should Kaep go in. More specifically, i wouldn't try to run more just because Kaep.

BTW - it isn't only the speed of the QB, there is the ability to read the DE, the fake/hand-off exchange, and quickness in the your first few steps. IMO Kaep is better at the first two, but not the third.

I never liked this strategy. I think teams eventually prepare for it and it disrupts the starting QB's rhythm. Harbaugh quit doing it because it wasn't effective. Even Bill Walsh tried and gave up on it. If Gabbert is the starter, then leave him in there. It isn't like Gabbert is statue in there. He can run.

u would think starting overall is better then sitting on the bench. He won the guard spot so why not say something at the beginning not to wait until 2-3 days before the game. What a hump. I like Tiller so Im ok with it. AD isnt beating out Brown or Staley.
