If the Hawks get swept in this series, I think you HAVE to blow this roster up.

Getting swept for them is a death sentence. It shows NO improvement, and that the current roster cannot win. Which most of us already know.

Problem is the management doesn't have the balls to do it. They'll languish in mediocrity for the next few seasons, making the playoffs in the east purely because it's so bad.

They'll win nothing, and age.....before having to rebuild. They're already on their death beds, they just haven't figured it out......and unfortunately, neither have their fans

Hey.
I hope they get them all out of their system, plus got overconfident and another week off.

I know its early, but if I'm Lue, there's going to be 18 minutes of garbage time.

Yep. Last thing he needs is Love, Kyrie or Lebron getting hurt playing unnecessary minutes in a 40 point blowout.

Agree. We're not talking about some really young team that's learning how to play in the playoffs. There are veteran guys on this team.

Could be that he landed in the ideal spot for him and he might be better served to just stay in Cleveland, even if he has to take less money.

Agree.

But, he got okie doked this Summer.

That was his agents fault for not ..

A. Having a backup deal to force the Cavs hand.

B. Not knowing that Smith had no market.

Nevertheless, he will be looking to recoup that money and a bit of his pride.

Again: Rich Paul has Gilbert by the balls.

Jr. Was smart enough to hire him a few months back.

they already overpaid Milsap last year instead of letting him walk and keeping Carroll

They'll overpay Al Horford's bum ass this year after they lose this series. There is literally not a SINGLE player you can build around on this roster.

@WiggyRuss feels Horford is that type of player.
Ill easily agree with you though.

I think Bazemore is gone.

They only have Early bird rights on him.

So, they can only exceed the cap to sign him if his salary starts at 6mil...

That ain't happening.

He's gonna get 11 or more.....

Since the Hawks signed Bazemore on a two-year contract, they are in the same boat as they were last year with Millsap and Carroll — holding only his "Early Bird rights." That means Atlanta can only go over the salary cap to sign Bazemore if he agrees to a contract that starts at less than about $6 million. Any 2016-17 salary higher over that means the team must use cap space to bring back one of their starters .

Likely cap space: $9 million

Realistic maximum cap space (using $92 million estimate):$19 million
Horford, Bazemore put Hawks in awkward position

This game reminds me of the Warriors visit to Cleveland earlier this season.

Highly doubt it. It is going how they expected it to go.
Not in the playoffs. These are just bad. I think I have watched 1 or 2 full games. Every game has been a blow out almost. Yes I know Rd 1 had 3 game 7's but they weren't great games. Ratings have to be low.

I bet they would.

Whiteside is likely not leaving Miami and I would rather pay Horford than Howard.

I don't think trades will be difficult this off-season.

You can literally trade a guy to 25 Teams, without having to take any money back.

Once Teams with 40 mil and up whiff on Durant, Whiteside, Howard, Horford, Bron and Parsons....

They will start absorbing guys with decent contracts as long as you send them a pick or another asset.

I'd rather pay neither Horford nor Howard and just give Muscala the job and maybe suck for a year if he doesn't pan out (which he probably would not, as someone that has watched him a good bit). Neither one of them are worth $25 a year.

This is really the first true blowout for the Cavs.
