Yep, its not a matter of production with veterans as it is with effort. Because eventually, be it tomorrow or next month or two years into the contract, the guy has to start producing either like (A) he used to in his prime, (B) like he was perceived to produce in his prime or (C) like he was expected to produce in his prime when he was a prospect but never even got close to his potential.
