One of my fantasy leagues my team name is Left Arm of God and Sandy is one of my all time favs so I did know who he was talking about but it doesn't surprise me some would have to look.

I prolly should've put his name in there somewhere.

Pitching coupled with great D(completely undervalued in mocks) has the edge. Reason being, a hitter can literally piss on a ball and still be out. You can pitch around certain hitters, shift the defense for strengths. To beat truly great pitching, you must have no lineup holes and play for a run at a time

Thanks so my wife actually works only 11hrs tonight. She picked up a ER nurse shift from 3pm-3am so will leave at 2am (3am will say the clock cuz of the savings) I am guessing.

I can't agree with this, these guys have egos the size of Connecticut no way are they ok with being lit up in front of the world.

Plenty are going to challenge hitters they never would during a game that counts.

I don't disagree with the ego thing at all.

Climbing the ladder against an MVP future HOFer is ego, but also a lack of concern for getting jacked.

I wouldn't say they don't care. But they go more for show off. So the idea is they care but it's more of a dick measuring contest.

They are going to challenge them with their best stuff not batting practice pitches, when you are as competitive as these guys are and are playing the best of the best you wanna stand out it's a pride thing and if as a MLB player you don't have pride you aren't prolly gonna be in an All Star Game.
