I definitely agree with the set up thing and linebackers... There are some linebackers that are "rush specialists" but IMO as long as you have an all around on the other side I don't see why they can't switch sides on plays when necessary... The inside guys, are basically middle backers with half the responsibility IMO... The d-line is the difference I've found out... The NT should be huge, or at least very very strong to demand at least a double... The DE are more like athletic DT... They are responsible for trying to get a double too and/or at least try to cause a pile, so their sack totals aren't going to be huge like the long fast DE who play the 4-3... It's why Peppers was moved to OLB in GB as opposed to staying at DE like he played most years... It's kinda why I'm struggling to find DEs because sacks nor tackles are their main focus so stats don't tell the whole picture... Just hoping stats don't hurt me, and people look at my scheme...:hope:

I absolutely look at guys who were great scheme fits but didn't have great stats. An example is Ted Washington. Now if you compared his sack numbers and tackles for loss to Warren Sapp, Sapp looks like a landslide winner. But that would be as a 3T in a 4-3. As a 3-4 NT, Washington has no peer IMO

I think y'all need to get more stern on just skipping people. These drafts take commitment, and if you aren't willing to put in the amount of effort that it takes, then you will be skipped. It's not like there is a shortage of available players out there.

Deal. Jeffro has been skipped next round. :pound:

I wish we could skip people if they take to long but the problem is there time slot hasn't expired yet.

I've already stated that I'm cool with being skipped. I'm mainly online during the day. If my pick comes up at night and I can't get to a computer, I don't want to hold up the entire draft.

Thank you. I wish others felt this way or left a list it would really make the draft go faster and smoother.

We need to come to an understand on this...

Maybe we should change the rule to once you are OTC you have 1 hour if you dont pick you will be skipped regardless of what time it is. Then if you come up again you will be skipped as soon as you get OTC.

Like Jeffro said, doing these takes a commitment and if you choose not to leave a list and not show up all day you are going to be skipped.

Hopefully that makes sense.

There is that one rule if you don't want to be skipped then leave a list or stay active.

Uh oh... I was just looking at some stats for my last HOFer pick... (I had a list of Tackles based on Pro Bowl appearances)... I looks like I took a kicker that also happened to play a little Left Tackle....

Woo hoo! Great start to my Offensive Line!

Picks in... I was going to wait 1 more round to grab Ware until you posted that UK lol... I know it wasn't intentional, in fact it was to answer my question but I wasn't going to risk it with teams being without OLBs on their team... Speaking of, I will be reaching out to a few who I think may want him but if anyone is interested in Ham let me know...

It's been said 100 times, if you can't be around, just leave a list. We all have jobs, we can't always be here, but there's no reason you can't leave a list, especially when you are only a few picks away. I understand not wanting to give away strategy, but you can give your list to someone running a different scheme. I had no problem picking for Steve, because his guys are mostly 3-4 personnel and not guys I need, even though they are great players

Great pick of Demarcus Ware, wlk. I've looked at him countless times, only to realize I already had a player from Dallas.

Ware's a 3-4 olb to me, I wouldn't have taken him. Now Ham..

Thanks... Been holding it for a while too, thought he'd be gone if I didn't grab him now after UK put me on blast!
