How many people are going ask the same question?

It's especially disturbing that bks also posted the picks so far twice for the ones that are extra slow.

fuck off, sorry I didn't read every post in three different threads looking for an answer. BKS posted it to me and yet didn't feel the need to post some snarky, bitchy retort.

thanks bks

LOL

It was made very clear this was the thread for commenting.

Not only did you comment on the wrong thread but you also asked a question multiple times that had already been addressed. Don't twist on me being snarky.

And now hurricane has lost his mind.

This is off to a fantastic start.

Had to figure with 30 people we'd have a few from the loony bin.

Let's all take a deep breath.

Man, if we all hate each other this much I can't imagine how real NBA GM's feel about their competition when things heat up.

Ok, not right after the draft, but a couple months after I can enter the final data into the simulation mode on 2K16 with updated ratings, stats, etc. and turn injuries off and simulate a full season. Only problem we overlooked with that is that teams are more than 10 on there so we'd just have to live with whoever they take with their next five picks after that.

I have a cool follow up idea afterwards: on 2K once you simulate the season and playoffs you can enter offseason mode and do the draft lottery and NBA draft with the results from that simulated season. So we could have a draft… this would be way down the road once we've been done with this for a while, but would be a cool add on I suppose.

Another suggestion. Not sure if they would have this but you never know. You could set the minutes played during the games so only the 10 rotation guys get minutes. Not sure if you would have to do that for every individual team though because that would also take a lot of time lol. All that seems like a lot of work regardless though :suds:

My pick is finally coming up.

Quick confirmation -- we can ignore short term injuries -- right ? (e.g., when we "rank" teams later somehow -- it won't matter if someone has a 2 month injury or not -- both for this year rankings ... and in 3 years)

But ... if someone has career ending injury or retires ... then that would definitely count against us when we rank teams based on the 3 year outlook -- right ?

this is a good question--- what about a guy like Michael Kidd Gilchrist?- great defender - out for the year? or Dante Exum- really good young PG- out for the year? Do we draft them as if they are healthy?

Lmao what did I miss?
^^^ This.

Hurricane went idiot mode?

Sting and I got into it on the draft thread because he mocked my posting on the wrong thread and after I missed the additional thread on page four. He and I agreed to move those four particular posts. Nothing to see here...

Tough to pass on a triple-double threat and NBA Champion (I won't name drop), but I knew point guards would be at a premium. So, I stuck with my plan and went with Reggie...

Great value at 20. Thought he'd go top 15 for sure even w/ the incident.
I actually think Blake is still a top 10 player in the NBA right now.

His injury and dumbassery aside, he's averaging 23.2, 8.7 reb and 5.0 assists a game.

Also everyone is making such a big deal about the Clippers record without Blake, but look at who they've played. They don't really have a quality win over anyone of note with Blake being absent.

This is a one-sided story but I'll let it go.

I agree, I'd say he's closer to 9 or 10… but with the injury and suspension I wasn't surprised to see him drop. Honestly a lot of players 8-20 are similar of value.

Just curious what the views are if we take a notorious starter and make him a bench player on our team. Are we assuming the guy is good with the bench role?

Also, if we have a guy that's like 34 now. Can we specify that to win now he's a starter but in 3 years that 24 year old on the bench would have his starting spot?

Just wondering

I'm sure we will set our lineups the way we want them to be viewed. Usually there is a lineup set after the end of the draft.
