Two rounds a week actually seems pretty reasonable to me. If you think it's slow now, just watch as the player pool starts to dry up. Rounds 8-10 are going to be torture.

seems like all of a sudden there was a run of the very small crowd of big men that are decent and left over....

last picks

Joel Embiid
Ed Davis
Mason Plumlee
Amir Johnson

along with Mirotic, Thompson, Olnyk, Marvin Williams, right before that...

Shit, I didn't even notice Eric Gordon was still available. Should have taken him as my SG. :L

If it makes you feel any better, I had Crabbe ranked ahead of Gordon.

Younger, and he has an extremely low usage rate, which is good. He is an efficient catch and shoot guy who does not hold the ball.

Yeah I'm still happy with Crabbe. It was between him and Gary Harris of the Nuggets but I thought Crabbe would be a better shooter. With my team focused around Drummond inside and Oladipo attacking at PG, it's good to have guys who can hit jump shots like Ibaka, Barton, and Crabbe.

Name dropper. Someone mentioned above just went to the top of my draft order.

I was between Bogut and Olynyk for my pick. Bogut fell too far, but he has looked off his game lately. Nice pick.

In 6 games since the All-Star Break, Jabari Parker is averaging 22.8 PPG/8.0 RPG/3.0 APG on a 58.1 TS%.

I will admit, I thought it was a reach last week, does not look that way anymore.

Only 6 games though, hopefully it's a sign of things to come and not a short-lived hot streak.

I loved Parker coming out of the draft- but it scared me how poorly he started the year--- but i guess in retrospect that was to be expected considering he was basically a rookie coming off major surgery that needs a jump shot to be really effective....It scared me though that he is a stretch 4 that couldnt hit a 3 to save his life before...hes too big to be a 3.....hes a little bit of a tweener but hes talented enough to overcome it i think....

If you are going to be that small 4- you really have to work on your all around game like Draymond- or its tough for you- but i think Jabari could do that and eventually be an AS.

Out of the last 2 drafts I would rank the best guys for long term outlook like:

1. Towns
2. Porzingis
3. Wiggins
4. Parker
5. Booker
6. Russell
7. Smart
8. Payton
9. Okafor
10. WCS

Yeah that's why I put him at 3 and got myself a true stretch 4 in Teletovic. Once I had RW, Parker, & Myles Turner... I realized spacing was gonna be an issue. So I got JR and Teletovic and I think found a good balance.

I'm just not sure RW and JR is a very good fit. Then you have a stretch 4 in Teletovic, I'm guessing he will be a backup possibly, bc you are going to have a tough time rebounding. Turner is decent, but it is definitely an interesting combo you have there.

The value of Parker&Turner is in their potential. I think my team, so far leans a little more towards the 3-years from now than the immediate. Parker is a good rebounder. Whether he or Teletovic is technically the 3 or 4 doesn't matter. 1 Forward who can stretch the floor 1 forward who can rebound and play-make.

I though someone gave away my potential pick earlier. Maybe I was mistaken or a mod may have removed a post.

I really wanted Bogut to round out my lineup and really surprised he slipped this far. He becomes the defensive anchor for my unit and brings that edge and toughness. Before Draymond Green, Bogut really set the tone for the new Warriors team in terms of bringing a mental toughness and edge to the team. He can do so with my squad as well.

He won't be needed to score at all, with Bledsoe and Griffin carrying the load and HB and Booker probably good for double digits each per game. Bogut is a great passer and can hit cutters backdoor. He's also very mobile and runs the floor well with my squad. I have a bunch of very good athletes who will get up and down the court.

I have two big time scorers in Bledsoe and Griffin. I have a great shooter in Booker and a very underrated one in Barnes who's shooting 41% on 3's this year. I have a defensive anchor in Bogut. I have athletes that can run the court. The biggest bonus is that my PF and C are both top 5 passers at their positions (maybe even top 3).

Love my team so far.

i think Parker will DEFINITELY get there and be a deadly 3 pt shooter someday- but probably not anytime soon....i think hes def all star worthy at some point in time. Rigth now with how he is under developed at shooting hes not a great fi

i think i would tend to like your team more 3 years from now as well.....

Right now i think my has a nice mix and no players that are super-super young that will still be pre-prime in 3 years...i think that is a consideration you have to make to a certain extent

PG- Deron Williams
SG- MKG
SF- LeBron James
Pf- Tristan Thompson
C- Jonas Valunciunas

I definitely need to add offense and shooting- but right now my team defense and rebounding is out of this world- and then of course you have LeBron raising all ships....I dont know if anyone has better defense or rebounding than my team- at least at this point---- i definitely need to add some shooters to the mix - which will happen down the line. If you cant play defense in this league today you are gonna be in trouble.

There are still plenty of shooters out there--- you really need to just totally disregard shooting like Pat Riley on the Heat to not have a contingent of good shooters in todays game.
