i never said anyone said they wouldnt make the finals

i said people like you thought the regular season was an actual indicator that there defense was poor- and that has proven to be a big pile of stinking bird shit.

you were wrong... the Cavs flipped the switch

all it took was getting healthy and getting some practice

just like i said

8-0

gnight - thanks for playing, try again tomorrow

They didn't flip any switch.

has the Cavs defense been an issue this postseason Mecca?

just asking for a friend.
Honestly, they've played much better.

The defense has improved from where they were when they lost those 2 games against the Hawks.

I think them getting healthy, guys integrated has a lot to do with it.

But, did the defense really get as good as it appears in the first 2 series?

Or

Are the other teams sub par on offense?

Probably a bit of both.

I will say, I can totally see the difference in effort. They are taking the defensive part of the game very seriously.

They didn't flip any switch.

Dwane Casey disagrees.

"Anytime you have No. 23, you can flip every switch you want,” Casey said. “He’s the difference. They did flip a switch. They’re a totally different team defensively and offensively. Anybody who thinks anything differently doesn’t know anything about basketball because that team presents so many problems."

they are A. healthy, and B. have had time to gel/practice

as i said for months- thats all it was gonna take.

now they are 8-0- and as i also said---- they dont have to take anyone in the East seriously. No one in the East has anything behind a lotto tickets chance to beat them--- and their defense has been fine.

8-0.

Wrong on what? They're still a bad defensive team. Did they win the title yesterday?

They can get by with being a bad defensive team against the teams against the East because they have Lebron James and the other teams do not. Once they get to the finals, let's see how that works
STILL a bad defensive team?

wow......you are gonna ride this boat down to the seabed arent ya? LOL.........unbelievable.

I mean- have you actually watched the Cavs this postseason? im seriously asking.

I said that as well. Point was he is bragging about Cleveland making the ECF so anyone said they would not make the ECF or the NBA finals. I simply asked him to provide a list of posters who said Cleveland would not make the finals and he could not provide that
Nobody said they'd lose.

Nobody.

i was just about to quote that as well.

I mean- if you have eyeballs and watched the CAvs in the regular season and then have watched the playoffs- its BEYOND obvious.

Anyone that tells you they didnt take a huge step up and "flipped the switch" just has not been watching

naw-- im not bragging about them amking the ECF's--- im bragging about them doing it by being 8-0 when people thought they would actually struggle defensively getting there

i know you arent stupid enough to pick against the Cavs getting out of the East- but yo uwere stupid enough to pick the Pacers and Toronto pushing the Cavs---- which simply didnt happen. Just like i said it wouldnt

ya know why? because the CAvs losing 13 of 22 to end the season DIDNT FUCKING MATTER- just like i said i wouldnt matter. 8-0 homie. LOL.

So they didn't struggle defensively against Indiana?

It makes no sense to even discuss the Toronto series. Losing one of your top 2 players when you're already down 2-0 basically end a series. I'm pretty sure everyone would have predicted a sweep if we all knew Lowry would miss games 3 and 4 because I honestly don't anyone had Toronto winning any game in Cleveland. Unless you're a super team, you will struggle big time when you missing you're 2nd best player. I think Toronto would have at least gotten a game had lowry been healthy.

Now back to the Indiana series since you claim their defense did not struggle in these playoffs.

Indiana avg 109 PPG on 46% and 43% shooting from 3. Yeah their defense sure didn't struggle in the playoffs.....

i totally agree

people like bksballer predicted them to have much harder time though because of their supposedly bad defense

predicting 6 games vs. the pacers, 6 games vs. the Raptors

whats their record?

2 broom jobs?

8-0

real tough...defense is really coming back to bite them in the ass....got some BIG TIME extended series becuase of that shitty defense. LOL.

Let's ask the Pacers if they flipped a switch defensively. I don't know why he is even bringing up their offense. They never had an issue on offense.

no- they didnt struggle- they fucking SWEPT- i dont care who you are- you SWEEP THE OTHER TEAM IN THE NBA playoffs- you did your job BIG TIME

the Cavs are the ONLY TEAM in NBA HISTORY to sweep the first 2 rounds 2 years in a row....but what? you are gonna try and say they struggled in a sweep? GTFO-- LOL......keep grasping at those straws.

just swallow the big ole shit sandwich lebron served you- and admit it

you didnt think tehy could flip the switch- and they did.

game over. gnight. please put your armrests and tray tables in their upright positions and exit the plane in an orderly fashion

Congrats, @Shanemansj13 , @gordontrue , @WiggyRuss , @lebron23james @Battlelyon and the rest of Believeland.

Start your fishing boats, Raptors fans.

th

I have no issue with anyone saying the Cavs have a bad defense, will make the finals, and lose to the Warriors.

What gets me is the hype of the Cavs struggles going into a series... and then the lack of credit for their performance after a series.

"Everyone knew they would get out of the East" sorta feels like a cop out. A way to avoid giving credit.

You are right.

Congrats on two great series.

The Cavs look great.

bestt he Heat ever did getting out of the East was 12-3

does that mean they struggled? LOL......

Cavs were 12-2 last year, 12-2 the year before- and - will go AT WORST 12- 2 again this year......

at some point- you are gonna have to realize---- when the bright lights go on- the Cavs show up- and that to base your opinion off the regular season was a big fat fucking mistake!

Derozan needs to be on suicide watch.

He was just defeated.

I think it's psychological now.

I admit, I didn't see going 8-0 coming.

The NBA would creme their panties if the Warriors and Cavs get to the Finals undefeated.

I mean- you said the Pacer would be a "tough out"- you predicated a 6 game series there

WRONG

i mean - can you honestly say you thought the Cavs would cruise like they have? of course not

Pacers did play them tough.
Cavs swept them, but it far from easy.
Go back and watch games 1 and 3.
