I think the 1 game suspension is just about right, too.

Hopefully, the Wiz learned a lesson about calling out picks. Oubre should have charged at his own teammate.

Olynck lowered his shoulder and leaned into Oubre's head. It was a basketball play, but I believe he was trying to hurt Oubre all the same. Olynck saw the whole thing and knew Oubre didn't see him.

Oubre was right to be pissed off, but he still needed to handle it better.

I'll admit Olynyk sometimes plays the game rough. That was definitely an offensive foul on his part, and the ref made the proper call.

But it's the playoffs, man. If Oubre didn't overreact, that play wouldn't have drawn any further notice.

And... it is definitely on Oubre's teammates to call out screens. He doesn't go full tilt into Olynyk's shoulder if his teammates are on the ball.

You are right.

If I am in Oubre's shoes though, first thing I am doing is getting in Olynck's face to let him know that shot ain't flying. Later, in the huddle, I would get on Mahimi a bit too. The rage would be directed at the dude who hit me in the face though.

Yeah I agree with both of you guys. It was a bad foul, and I still say it was a result of a number of similar plays that were building the tension. And yes his teammate should have warned him. But I don't blame Future Hall of Famer Kelly Oubre for reacting strongly, he needs to control his emotions. You can't do that and not expect a game. But the Celtics need to cut that shit out.
