Yeah, as a Cavs fan, I don't have an opinion on who I want to win the series. Cavs would either get the slightly better matchup, or they'd get homecourt advantage.
exactly...pretty much a wash for the most part.....

itll be interesting to see.

Boston seems to have some good vibes/momentum going there way right now.

I want to see that Celtics Cavs series. I am interested to see how the Celtics defend against old man James. I would put Crowder/Smart/Brown on him and use the full 15 to 18 fouls a game, especially Brown and Crowder.

This is a tough series to call. I think it comes down to coaching. Whichever coach is better at rotations and tweaking his lineup based on match ups will win IMO. My prediction is Stevens has the edge for now based on game 1.

Future "superstar" Kelly Oubre is minus 80 in the playoffs this year. Clearly, the wizards don't need Otto Porter.

As frustrating as that game was to lose after jumping out 16-0 I actually came out of it somewhat encouraged as a Wizards fan. Sure they don't play defense, and yeah many of those shot in the 3rd quarter were wide open. But I swear during that run that decided the game Boston seems to hit 15 shots in a row. Nobody can shoot that well, even while not guarded, and I'm just not sure this Boston team can shoot that well again.

Oh, I read it.

You also said you thought he would develop into a superstar. Rodman and Laimbeer were nowhere close to superstar level.

LOL.

I tell you what. Post a poll if you want. They were good players, but you have a very warped definition of superstar if you think Rodman and Laimbeer qualify. Superstars are truly elite players. There are not very many of them in the game at any one time.

They don't. Sorry. They were both very good, but they weren't superstars.

I want to see Kyrie guard Wall and vice versa.
if the Wiz make it and beat Boston we will be seeing it. Id love to watch a full series--- well- at least 4-5 games- with those 2 playing as well.

Eh......we have had the Rodman debate here before.

He was an elite rebounder/irritant.

Not a role player.

* Gives @tlance the siiiiiiiiiiide eye *

But, not close to a SUPER STAR ....imo

Now Laimbeer?

He was a Super STAR......

Of getting the shit slapped out of him...lol

Sadly, My guy BG32 is one backhand away from taking that title.

At least Bill gave as good as he got.

I think people are way too generous with that Term.

Lebron is a Superstar.

Paul George is a Star.

Jordan, Kobe, Magic were Superstars.

Drexler, Miller, Nash were Stars.

There is a difference.

My favorite highlight is Chief punching Laimbeer 2-3 times. It was old school -- Chief was not even called for a foul. (according to the announcers, it was probably because the refs knew that Laimbeer had it coming)

Exactly.

Rodman and Laimbeer were not even close to the level of PG13, Drexler and Miller. They were very good players. A true superstar is capable of carrying a mediocre roster to the playoffs. Laimbeer and Rodman were not even the 2nd best player on their respective teams.

The good ole days...lol

Remember when McHale almost KILLED Rambis?....lol

They called a regular foul.

He would be banned in today's NBA.

How many Superstars do we currently have, outside of Lebron?

Curry, Durant, Kawhi, Westbrook, Harden are the only guys that are even debateable...

And honestly, two of those guys I would probably say.......no.

I agree.

I think I might put all 5 of the questionable guys in the superstar category this year, but I can honestly say that i do not think in the last 50 years there has been as many superstars in the league as there are today. Usually it is 2-4.
