That is exactly opposite of what Nebraska needs to happen.
Shut down Freeman and pound the ball. Keep Oregon's offense off the field and burn up clock. And Nebraska is built to do just that.
A shoot out is exactly what Oregon would hope for.

Against two FCS teams. Virginia would honestly struggle in the FCS this year.

Virginia was held to negative rushing yards through 3 quarters against Richmond and then they ripped off 193 vs Oregon.

If we have 190+ yards rushing against Oregon they don't have a chance in hell at winning.

Brady Hoke was asked if he had the personnel to run a 4-3 after the Virginia game and he point blank changed the subject.

They don't have a true nose tackle. They've had some good ends recently with Buckner and the other guy, but they don't have a DL that can come close to stopping our running attack right now. They would get wrecked in the B1G. He's 2 years away from building that defense up.

Thats been the MO of their offense for quite a while now. They have done the same with P5 teams consistently for quite some time now. By that standard Nebraska has played Fresno State and Wyoming. This game is the first real test for both teams. I wouldn't ignore the quick strikes.Or put all my focus on Freeman. Oregon has a ton of speed at WR. And they utilize them in a lot of different plays.Virginia is FCS now?
