Didn’t get to watch at all last night, but that shot chart isn’t going to lead to many goals.

Can someone please let Oskar Linblom know that the Flyers season has started? I gave him a pass last season but he either needs some time in the AHL to get his game and his confidence back. Maybe if Hayes and that Ellis fellow decide to play it'll be different. Yet to be seen.
Its tough playing 4 on 5 every shift. The anchor is bringing that whole line down. Once he shakes up the lines you will see Linblom and Laughton contribute more in the offensive end.

On a side note, Hart got beat by a couple of bad bounces but our defense looked horrible,Yandle looked old tonight, poor little feller. Hart has looked strong all season the rest of the team needs to show up.
I agree 100% and you can add to Sanheim being out of position so many times. I hope when Elis comes back Sanheim gets to sit a game or two to work on positional hockey.

I'm willing to give him some time. At EV he's got the 3rd highest individual expected goals at this point (Couturier, Konecny). And tied for the lead in high danger chances (w/ Couturier and Atkinson).

It's coming. Just snake bitten so far.

We pulled a Flyer offense from last season and the one before. Pepper shots to the goalie and hope for the best.

Kind of disappointing to lose 3-0 as the played without their best player.

Our great 30 goal a season a season player and 7 million dollar per year player has now scored a grand total of 5 goals in the last 41 games.

That's a half a season worth of hockey and he's scored 5 goals. Now i see why the Kraken left him off their list of players to take from us.

Maybe when Hayes comes back put him on a line with those guys see if it helps his game. He just looks totally lost on the ice a whole lot.

I'm gonna disagree with you here, JVR has been playing at both ends and I like that more than him standing around at the blue line looking out of the play, his offense isn't doing any wonders but I think that whole line has little to no chemistry.

I didn't get to watch the game last. I didn't expect to get shutout either. Was it that bad?

Lindblom and Laughton are not good enough to carry him offensively and therefore you get a full line of zero offense. We dont pay him 7 million dollars a year to score 10 goals a year.

It was just boring and a real lack of imaginative offense. Sort of like a dump and chase but it was pepper it on goal and hope you get a rebound off of a weak shot form 30 feet away.

It was great to see Simmonds out there last night.

I just read Couts and Lindblom had a friendly chat with him in warm ups.

Prov getting replaced on the top PP unit last night was definitely not a vote of confidence for him.

Idk, it was a really tight game until midway when Nylander got a fluke bounce off of his toe that was originally disallowed for being a kick. The call could've gone either way, but the Leafs got lucky there for it to be overturned upon review. That said, Hart played arguably very well start to finish and still gave up three goals. Our special teams were really bad, for sure. We could've declined some of our power plays and done more with less. They pulled away in the 3rd via a couple tic-tac-toe goals that Hart had little chance on.

I guess I just don't think we got into the prime scoring areas with the puck often enough. Too many long range shots (or wide shots) without enough traffic and just plain not in Campbell's kitchen, which allowed him to be comfy all game long.

Obviously just a really frustrating game to watch. You expect our boys to come out with a little more jam on home ice against a dangerous team (at least in the regular season...Lol).
