Twitter says Ellis and Hayes both practiced essentially in full today. AV said the earliest Hayes would play would be Tuesday, Ellis may be sooner, even tomorrow.

Sounds pretty promising on both fronts.

I'm guessing Ellis tonight, but Hayes not until next Thursday or Saturday. Obviously they are both huge pieces to the Stanley Cup puzzle for us though.

Lappy is a shit coach. I'm not sure how much evidence the Flyers' brass needs to figure that out.

Yep, that's what makes me think the plan is for Ellis to play tonight. Provy/Braun has been playing pretty well. Sanheim/Ristolainen is hit or miss but they seem to want to stick them together until they figure it out consistently. Might as well ease him back in with 3rd pair minutes.

It's been pretty bad last couple of seasons, seemed like it was looking good to start the season but has gone AWOL since game 4.

Can someone please let Oskar Linblom know that the Flyers season has started? I gave him a pass last season but he either needs some time in the AHL to get his game and his confidence back. Maybe if Hayes and that Ellis fellow decide to play it'll be different. Yet to be seen.

On a side note, Hart got beat by a couple of bad bounces but our defense looked horrible,Yandle looked old tonight, poor little feller. Hart has looked strong all season the rest of the team needs to show up.
