Yep. Atkinson is a much better fit for what the Flyers need. Even before the energy and PK threat. Add the latter two and it's a no brainer.

Last night was NAK's best game in a long time. Stayed out of the box, forechecked pretty well, created a couple chances with his skating. More of that and I'll get off his back a little bit.

Agreed. I was actually thinking sometime in the 2nd, this is the real gut check for the team. Not playing terribly, but not making any headway on the scoreboard. Can they battle through it and get the W. And they did.

As to the second point though, Coots has 11 points in 8 games, G with 10 points in 8 games to pace the Flyers. And TK is 4th with 7 points. They've started pretty darn well this year.
