We have been so long without an identity. Somehow there needs to be a plan to get coaching / front office / players on the same page. That’s the winning formula - and has been totally absent with the flyers for decades.

The only winning formula and its been this way forever is to have good players. If you have good players and win nobody ever complains about coaches GMs or the front office.

We should just go ahead and hire Rick Tocchet asap. If anything, he will hold everyone accountable and make sure we have a team that works hard 100% of the time. Also, a guy like that obviously commands your respect as a player and already has achieved legend status within the organization.

Yes. Bring in guys that had a lot of success here, know what it means to be a Flyer and hate to lose.

Those two guys were each the driving force on Flyer squads that made the Cup Finals and fell just sort. I believe it was '10 and '97.

We need a coach that can coach to the players strengths. Once we get a few more players with some strengths, we can worry about a coach. If Yandle can't play today because he is sick, he stays in the press box the remainder of the season.

I copied this from a comment section in a story about Yandle because its so true.



They played him when they needed to win games and he made them worse. Now they need to lose games and they sit him, which makes them better. This is such a Flyers move.
