I am just guessing but im pretty sure Gee is going to be traded.

My question is who else do you think will be traded?

Does TK go or Braun etc. ?

I think G, Risto, Braun, and Brassard should be moved. Yandle and Jones too. But I don't think they'll move all those guys just because they need to fill the roster for the rest of the year and unless players are coming back in those deals.

The priority should be G and Risto. They have the highest value to come back. Braun would be 3rd because I expect he'll be the easiest one to move. He's played above his weight class this year, veteran, RHD, good on the PK, low cap hit. It should be fairly easy to get a 3rd or 4th for him I would think.

Hockey GM's are lazy farts though. I don't expect anything bigger than moving some rentals. Nothing like the crazy NBA deals that come in at their deadline. Those kinds of deals typically come at the draft, if they come.

All the players mentioned here are who they say will more than likely go, like you said though, what will be the haul for us in return?

I agree 100%

.A couple of teams need a goalie do you think Jones has any value?

Does Linblom and Laughton have any value?

I think anyone who needs a backup would be interested in Jones. He'd be a decent choice IMO. Actually a bit of an under-rated "biggest surprise" this year. I thought he'd suck. He's actually been alright.

I don't think Lindblom/Laughton are the types of deadline moves people will go for. 3M, more seasons left on the contracts. And I think both of them are a bit overpaid for what they bring.

I am hoping they can get at least a 1st round pick or a decent top 6 / top 4 caliber prospect. People seem concerned G could turn into a Hall situation where there is really only one or two places he's willing to go that can afford him so those teams don't have to fork out much. Maybe G will be a little more open than that, but it is what it is when they have a full NMC. And the Hall return was like a 2nd and a very mediocre prospect. G brings a little more than Hall, but it would stink to lose him without getting something back to get excited about.

Ristolainen, I'm hoping for like a 2nd round pick? I could see some GM overpaying for size/snarl to go into the playoffs. Maybe they get a mid-tier prospect also, or some type of reclamation project. If the Flyers eat salary he'll be somewhat affordable for a lot of teams. Flyers could take an expiring cap dump back too because if they move G and Risto, they're clearing like 13M in space. If Fletcher gets creative, he could probably use that space to facilitate other team's deals too. Take a cap dump and 3rd rounder or something, to allow a cap strapped team to add in some other deal. I don't have any faith that he'll pull that off though. He'll just watch teams with an abundance of cap space do that instead and say they had more room to do it.

Rest of the guys I wouldn't expect more than later round picks for. If Brassard has a good month they might be able to get a little more for him.

I think someone looking for a PP specialist and a defensive forward that has leadership abilities like Laughton may be a player someone would take on for a playoff run. His salary is prorated for this season so i think he may have some value to a playoff team it all depends on what they are willing to give up for a player who will still have one more year on his contract at 3 million.

That Risto deal was so bad for the organization. We could've just kept Hagg and the first and second rounder. :mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2:

We'll see what Fletcher can get back for him at the deadline. If what he said was true, that multiple teams were trying to get him for a 1st +, which is he why he added in the 2nd, then he should be able to recoup most of that at the deadline. I'm skeptical. But I wouldn't expect his play this year would have decreased his value. He's been, fine. So we'll see, maybe he'll get a nice return.

The real issue is if they throw good money after bad and try to re-sign him on a big contract. Recoup what you can, and try again.

I hope someone will pay a first rounder for him but I'm skeptical.

If we throw good money after bad and resign that will be a travesty.

He really is bad. Hopefully no one was scouting Risto tonight either.

Too many games where Hart has been hung out to dry, it's getting bad, good news is the kid looks like he's keeping his confidence up. I hope someone is telling him all the right things right now.
