Flyers/Canes postponed "due to Flyers COVID issues". Which are better today than they were for the Pens or Sharks games. And the Flyers are practicing today.

Perhaps they meant to say Canes COVID issues in the release? Otherwise this is just a bizarre application of postponements.

Or they're trying to save the Flyers fans from another depressing game?

As far as Yandle what good is it playing in all these consecutive games if you are hurting your current team.

I believe the O'Reilly thing, he was on the block and filled a need for the Flyers at the time. I have a hard time with the Patrick one though. No draft prognosticators said anything other than Hischier/Patrick 1-2. If there were teams/scouts legitimately rating Makar above one of them, someone would've wrote about it.

Seems a lot like Clarke has an axe to grind and Makar being a Norris caliber guy while Patrick is busting is a convenient story.

At a minimum it shows a toxic culture in the front office. Or just that Hextall was toxic which isn’t a giant leap.
