I don't disagree. I saw rumors for what they're worth with the Bears giving up #10, 41 and a 1st next year. Now that's a deal I can get behind. There may be greater value in a trade from a team interested in him

Edelman says hi. Clearly he wasn't drafted to be a QB.View attachment 395762
I know in the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t matter too much. We have our Super Bowls. But that really is horrible drafting.
That’s all going to change when we draft this stud.

Well, I can't agree with taking a skill player over an OT, but if it happens I will live with.At a minimum I see him as camp competition. In his limited action he was serviceable. Just another reason why I think we should get one of the skill players with the first pick. See what the OTs we select this season have and if there is still a void get a LT next season when we don't have so many holes to fill.
Yeah if we land a deal like that you take it. Then just grab the best OT you can get at 10. I still think Banks will be there and Simmons.I don't disagree. I saw rumors for what they're worth with the Bears giving up #10, 41 and a 1st next year. Now that's a deal I can get behind.
Unless panic sets in both Simmons and Banks should be there at 10.Yeah if we land a deal like that you take it. Then just grab the best OT you can get at 10. I still think Banks will be there and Simmons.

I think if Carter or Jeanty are there there may be some interestNot sure there is going to be great value in trades for this draft for the seller. There was talk of the Bears wanting to move up. I think it was Ian Rapaport that said after someone mentioned it "And there are 6 teams ahead of them wanting to move back."
I was going to comment with this, as Jules had a few seasons over 750.Edelman says hi. Clearly he wasn't drafted to be a QB.

I wish you wouldn't hide the article/news under a rename.

I may get the dreaded Red X at work...
I have not given up on Wallace yet but......Has everyone given up on Cadean Wallace? We only got a glimpse of what he could do when Lowe went down and before he got injured.
Debbie DownerI have not given up on Wallace yet but......
This is how I remember him:
"Wallace was penalized for failing to report as an eligible receiver in overtime of New England's Week 2 loss, and he picked up right where he left off on Thursday. The rookie was flagged three times on Thursday, first for an illegal formation call in the first quarter. Wallace was also called for holding on back-to-back third down plays in the third quarter, one of which nullified an Austin Hooper catch that would have put the Patriots at the New York two-yard line and a shot at their only touchdown of the night."

I was joking when I said yes, obviously we let him compete for a job but we still need to look at options in the draftI have not given up on Wallace yet but......

Two things. Rookie inexperience and more, shitty coaching."Wallace was penalized for failing to report as an eligible receiver in overtime of New England's Week 2 loss, and he picked up right where he left off on Thursday. You omitted discipline or better lack there of. I doubt we'll see so many dumb penalties and mental mistakes this year. Two things. Rookie inexperience and more, shitty coaching.
The entire O-Line sucked and it wasn't just being lousy players. Not a single bit of decent coaching. When a line has multiple penalties in a game, the coaches have to step up. First in the film room on Monday. Then bring in the entire line on Tuesday and start working with them on alignment and footwork.
On Wednesday, spend the first half or at least two hours working against the defense on every possible passing situation and for the final fifteen minutes having the RBs picking up a LB, CB or Safety blitzer. The payoff would have been enormous by December. The 2024 Pastriots coaching staff either didn't understand what was wrong, or didn't know WTF to do.
In the first mini camp after the draft, do what I just described above and you'll have a basic idea of who can or can't play a position on the OL. Immediately cut the guys who just can't do it and go find an equal number of undrafted kids and sign them up until the wheat is separated from the chaff.
