I don't disagree. I saw rumors for what they're worth with the Bears giving up #10, 41 and a 1st next year. Now that's a deal I can get behind.

I know in the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t matter too much. We have our Super Bowls. But that really is horrible drafting.

That’s all going to change when we draft this stud.

At a minimum I see him as camp competition. In his limited action he was serviceable. Just another reason why I think we should get one of the skill players with the first pick. See what the OTs we select this season have and if there is still a void get a LT next season when we don't have so many holes to fill.

Well, I can't agree with taking a skill player over an OT, but if it happens I will live with.

Yeah if we land a deal like that you take it. Then just grab the best OT you can get at 10. I still think Banks will be there and Simmons.

Unless panic sets in both Simmons and Banks should be there at 10.

@YankeeRebel, I'm not sold on either Simmons or Banks. If I had to choose I'd pick Simmons. At #10, I think you can still trade back and get either of them.

Not sure there is going to be great value in trades for this draft for the seller. There was talk of the Bears wanting to move up. I think it was Ian Rapaport that said after someone mentioned it "And there are 6 teams ahead of them wanting to move back."

I was going to comment with this, as Jules had a few seasons over 750.

But then I wondered if he meant 750 yards in college?

Carter yes...Jeanty is a little lower just because of positional value and depth of the position in the draft. I don't think many are going to be willing to trade next year's 1st for Jeanty.
