Listening to Pro Football Weekly this morning and they say that phones are burning in Cleveland, New York AND New England

Suddenly, several teams have Jeanty as their primary target. They mentioned several that they supposedly know are making calls.
Dallas, Denver, Chicago, San Francisco and Indianapolis. One of them said that the Broncos are in a very tough spot at #20. He said that they would have to give up way more than they would like to get any of the top three to drop that far.

One mentioned a trade that has been talked about since last year. SF would give NE the #11 and Aiyuk to get #4 and they would grab Warren or Walker. They have some age starting to erode the edges.

Very interesting conversation by Dave Wannstatt. He said that Jimmy Johnson was the best he ever was associated with when it came to drafting. It was the biggest and worst fights between him and Jerry Jones. Johnson didn't give a shit whatthe experts had to say. He had more than fifty "Area Scouts" repotting to District Scout Directors who reported to the Cowboy Scouting Director who reported to Johnson. Johnson had one rule and one rule only. DRAFT STARTERS. Not the most gifted, most athletic, best at a position. STARTERS. Jones almost fired him when Johnson said he'd quit of JJ didn't let him draft Russell Maryland. Jones said that he wasn't a Cowboy type. He gave in to Johnson and Maryland was a starter and and an All Pro. Wanstatt then said he tried to do what Johnson did when he coached and said that most teams don't think that way at all.
I don't see any way the Broncos trade up that high. The cost is astronomical and they just got themselves out of cap and draft hell from the Wilson trade. Would be stupid to trade all of that for especially a RB if that is who they are coming up for. I love Jeanty as you all know, but there is a limit.

For years and years, a lot of us use to say in BB we trust, and a lot of us lost that trust. Poster would start questioning why the Pats selected a player, or question the player they did select, or why they weren't active in FA. Then BB but got canned, and justly so IMO, then last year, the Kraft family fucked that up top to bottom. So, as a fan base the last 5 or 6 years have been a jagged pill, we lost our confidence in the direction this team was taking. Now we have a glimmer of hope that things might be turning around. While some of feel the Pats should grab a blue-chip player others feel we need to build from the trenches out, but we all hope this year set us back on track. In the end all I can say is at least we aren't the Jets or Browns

How Far Might Sanders Drop?

Truth be told the only reason he got to a DI school is that Colorado wanted Deion, it was more of a package deal.

He has a decent skill set. Tom Pelissero though released an article after talking to multiple GM's on their thoughts of all the top QB prospects. Most everything said about Sanders was negative on the character side of things. There are things about his game like he doesn't play on time, holds onto the ball too long, takes way too many sacks. The bigger issue though was that he came across as arrogant, disrespectful, and thinking he is in charge when he gets to the NFL. They talked about how he would take his own vehicle to games instead of riding on the team bus. He also went into meetings telling teams what they must do for him rather than what he could do for the organization. His dad directly contacting media that have said negative things about his son also comes up as what happens when he gets chewed out for a bad play by a coach...Is Deion contacting that coach and telling him to lay off his son?

A few times through out all the banter I mentioned liking Dart. I think some team is going to get a decent QB in him I also feel he could be selected before Sanders

I wouldn't be shocked one bit. I think Dart needs a bit more time than Sanders to hit the ground running in the NFL but the tools are all there and he has shown some of the best skills when it matters most in 3rd down passing situations and under pressure. I would take him over Sanders.

Last year we took the franchise QB instead of the tackles. I’m happy with that.
We committed to prioritize OL this year but we have already improved the defense. We get a couple of OTs here and things will look much brighter. If we hit on a kicker, a RB, and a Wr, things could really change for us!

Don't we also need to draft a QB somewhere this year?

That doesn't bode well for him to be so bold.

I was just listening to Nashville Radio while inspecting some pipelines and they were talking about Ward and Sanders practicing together and one of the things that was brought up was Sanders said "we should make a song" to which Ward said "I don't do songs. I play football."
Sanders replied "No dude, we should make a video" so Ward reiterated "I don't make video's, I play football", Not to be deterred, Sanders continued "we got to do something, what do you do?" and Ward said "I play football."

That is another thing I'm sure NFL teams will have some issues with is that Sanders has things going outside of football. It caused him to miss meetings over the offseason. Not the biggest deal as plenty of players miss offseason workouts but those other responsibilities could be viewed as things that take his mind off football.

All things considered, If the Patriots take Campbell, he'll have a year to prove he belongs at LT or needs to be moved top LG. IMO, he won't be worse than Lowe. That being said, maybe a smart move would be to pick up a Jack Nelson in the fourth or fifth round as a backup. If Campbello is really bad, move him and see if he's better than Strange..

Sory if the typing is bad. Pupils are dialated.
