This guy can block #1 blocking TE in the nation and I dont know were catching but this week he was amazing two 30 yard cathes I belive and his Td was even longer. I belive he is a JR not sure .

meaning I believe he is Senor ... not sure on that.

The whole R side OL and even the Center I love how physical they are all wheels and block down the field amazingly .

We have speed, we don't use it.

How many times are we going to be reminded that Ryan Williams is 17?

I had enough reminders at the half of the Dawgs game.

He is 17

Ryan Williams is 17

The 17 year old.

Hey, did anyone mention he was 17?

Every week, every catch.

If our Center keeps Getting to the 2nd level and blocking so Williams gets his yardage back up I will not wish fpr a new Center ...I wont mention his name.... I will just say he plays for BSU..

Center has little bearing on rushing yardage especially when most plays are outside the guards. Ifvyou watch, most likely G/T getting to the second level.

Inquiring minds want to know why speed is not used by the Broncos.

I would say a couple of reasons

1) The speed on the team is still very young and raw. They have been getting open but there are plays they are not quite running things right leaving Nix to look elsewhere early in the route. The almost TD to Franklin for example in this last one...Mims looks like he was the 1st read with a crossing route over the middle. He ran a terrible route and then started jogging halfway through the route because he looked confused on what he was supposed to be doing. He would have been wide open if he didn't slow down his route.

2) There have been a lot of missed big plays down the field because I think Nix has been afraid to pull the trigger since week 3. Those bad interceptions have him questioning what he is seeing. So a lot of plays he is either going 1st read to the check down or 1st read to a scramble out of a good pocket then taking the easier throw short. Franklin was open down the sideline for example when the Broncos started on the 1-yard line. He would have only had one person to beat for a 99-yard TD but Nix took the safe throw to the check down. It got positive yards but I think he didn't trust what he was seeing and didn't want a turnover in a difficult situation.

Carl - Nix and Payton eventually admitted that Nix and Franklin changed the play from a sideline throw to and endzone play in the huddle. The look to his right on that play was to stare off the safety for the throw to Franklin to his left. That's why Nix and Payton were arguing on the sideline just after that. It appears the play restrictions are imposed by Payton and Nix wants some relief of that.

I got yah. Then it was a great decision on Nix's part just dropped at the end unfortunately. I still think Nix is missing some things on the field though that are open. Every rookie is at this point in their career. So I don't think it is all Payton handcuffing him with keeping everything conservative. It is Nix not having his eyes right and trusting his OL to hold up.

I certainly agree with that. I will say Nix is easy to throw away the ball rather than take a sack. When he gets his completion rate to 70% he will be at his optimum.

Mason was saying we all are probably expecting a little to much out of Mims If you look at Haven Moses and how he took a wile as well .

I would disagree with this. Nobody is expecting Mims to be a world beater WR.. We just want him used like we did vs the Commanders last year and PS last year... Mims is never going to be a 80 plus catch guy but we have to find ways to get him the ball. He is an X factor we lack with his playmaking skills. Payton is playing mind games with him, IMO and is is slowly working his way into a larger role.
