Still not sure how it matters in relationship to a potential NFL Debut

Most websites that rate draft picks discuss high school also. Means little to me but modern scouts pay attention to it.

Yeah I can't see how it makes any difference and from a counter post I read seems the information posted is questionable. Kids grow a lot in three or four years, they develop the game a lot. Seems futile to delve into HS stats IMO

In horse racing we talk about “horses growing in the barn” means they get better seemingly for no reason when young

He didn’t play his Senior year because of Covid.

The way I remember we had three issues last year, and the year before.

1) OL.
2) QB.
3) WR.

Not necessarily in that order.
I remember you and I thinking trade back draft OL first and set the foundation for a strong offense first and not have a new QB scramble for his life.

I like Polk. But I would have gone OT with the pick. Hopefully that Wallace guy can make the transition to LT.

And that's why we're going to have Brissett running for his life and fix the O-line with the next draft.

I would have traded back and taken 2 OT's.
IMHO it would have set them up for long term success and a solid offense.

While Jackson will have to battle for playing time, he was a reliable wide receiver in college. He averaged 27.8 yards a game in the Big Ten and found the end zone once. Although those numbers don’t jump off the page, Jackson was able to have success while Rutgers quarterbacks finished with the lowest completion percentage in the Big Ten.

I see him as a more worthwhile option at 3 with way more upside.

Plus, as I have said before, he has a similar game and attributes as Maye, so if they are coaching to a players strengths, their is no change in game plan between QB's.
