LeBron layup helps U.S. avoid loss to South Sudan
LeBron James made a driving layup with eight seconds left to prevent what would've been a historic upset and Team USA escaped with a 101-100 victory over South Sudan on Saturday night in a moment the raucous crowd at London's O2 Arena won't soon forget.www.espn.com
Thats kinda bad if your big bad US national team almost loses to South Sudan.
I didn't see it, I'm at work. But my Facebook "friends" who I have to have on FB so I don't offend them are all going crazy about mocking Christianity in the opening ceremony. Something about drag queens at the last supper?I thought this was the best opening ceremony I've seen. From the diverse music, to involving a lot of the city of Paris.
I think having the ceremony outdoors, away from a stadium, gave them more options.
And I like how they interjected the parade of nations, with the opening ceremony.

Haliburton should have played. There's enough minutes.
Has anyone watched on Peacock? I'm definitely enjoying the multiview channels.
Good tip, might try that for the next game while I'm home. Signing on the Peacock at work might be a step too far lol.
