Fans should support it, yes. They've locked up their best player. I can't get used to $50M+ for guys in Lauri's range, but they need to start somewhere. I think these 2nd/3rd type player contracts are going to get crunched as we move forward with this new CBA. Lauri is a very good player, but a #1?

Jazz have no long term committed money until now. This is essentially a stake in the ground as the official start of their build essentially. Now, do they add more (Ingram?) for this season, or do they sell off their decent pieces to make another run at the intriguing high lottery next summer?
