Everyone gonna regret passing on Knecht.
Maybe. But I’m not into making such declarations coming out of summer league. He was playing against guys who have no place in the real league. He was playing with guys who have no place in the real league. The role guys play in the summer league is almost the opposite of the role they’ll be asked to play as a role player in the league.

Summer league is needed so kids can get their feet wet and ease the culture shock of change but we really shouldn’t make too much of it.

Twitter is fucking garbage right now because of summer league. I’m sick and tired of seeing Tyler Kolek getting hyped like he’s future All NBA just because he’s a Knick. The Bronny stuff (both ways) is even worse.

In closing…Summer League can go fuck themselves.

some good points and just never know what can really be taken from SL. I mean, in some Cavs' forums Tyson should already be our starting SF.

IF it translates (as he has been amazing)? Great....but guessing there have been a number of guys who played as well or better in SL who amounted to little. But, sure, rather they play well than not.

Yeah no doubt. If a prospect is playing any kind of basketball it’s better that they are successful over unsuccessful. For me, I want to see what they are in their first 15-20 games in the real league before even starting to form an opinion.

Just for funbags from nba.com:

Trey Alexander, Denver

An undrafted free agent out of Creighton, Trey Alexander scored 19 points with a team-high seven rebounds in the Nuggets’ 91-82 victory over the Pelicans. He also added three assists, a steal and a block to close out an outstanding five-game run in Las Vegas. Alexander was great at getting to his spots all week, showed an elite mid-range game and went 11-for-24 (45.8%) from 3-point range. Don’t be surprised to see him crack Denver’s backcourt rotation next season.

I’m gonna try and get some rookie of the year odds for him oh FanDuel and play him for $10. We’re gonna be rich bro.

Sometimes these click bait, so-called sports pundits can be annoying. It is easy has hell to name a wish list for any team in Pro Sports. This Robert dude does not mention the fact of the asking price for any of the players listed. Like two number ones for Jeremi Grant by the Portland Highway Robbers or the same for Carter by Orlando Thieves!! He mentions, in a general fashion the available two numbers ones the Lakers have in 2029 and 2031 but that ain't happenin' anytime soon.
