Having gone through the Process, we have a Zapruder-like ability to analyze Summer League action.....Exactly. You want to see your roookies look like they belong. Missing shots isn't that big a deal. But showing that can handle the faster speed of the summer league, compared college, is important.
Apparently he is patiently waiting.
Wow. For a guy like you with a fairly reliable rep on here of having logic, based in fact, to make exceptions for a guy who many consider a GOAT and who routinely violates the basics of the game like traveling and the so-called "super-star" step (which is still illegal) is flat-out astonishing. I'll have to adjust my perception accordingly go forward.Cmon man.
Michael Jordan literally invented the superstar step.
There is some old footage of the Dream Team on a bus and Magic is joking about how can’t breath on Michael or it is a foul.
It is a funny joke, because there is truth behind it.
And the honest truth?
Superstars like LeBron and Shaq actually get fewer calls then their peers because they are perceived to be strong enough to absorb more contact.
Well geez DJ, how many big FAs (other than our own) have signed with the Lakers this summer who expressed an interest in public to want to play for the Lakers?Apparently he is patiently waiting.
"Nobody wants to play for the Lakers." LOL

I am quite aware of what the league did with this traveling issue and similar to what KAJabbar did when it became sort of modus operandi and he spoke out briefly about it and then hasn't said anything about it since, I have been calling out this dilution of the game for some time.It is truth.
Superstar step became a thing in the 80s and 90s as the league really tried to go the extra mile to market its stars.
Has been a thing since.
Star players get the benefit of the doubt on calls that non stars don’t.
Oh, and the NBA has been soft on travels in general for a long time.
Everyone knows this.
It's called the salary cap.Well geez DJ, how many big FAs (other than our own) have signed with the Lakers this summer who expressed an interest in public to want to play for the Lakers?
That might be a contributing factor DJ but Klay, DeRozan, Hield and others made it very clear they did not want to go to the Lakers for a range of reasons which means, they did not want to play in LA for the Lakers. It's called the salary cap.
New CBA fucked shit up.
DD got 3 years and 70 mill. That might be a contributing factor DJ but Klay, DeRozan, Hield and others made it very clear they did not want to go to the Lakers for a range of reasons which means, they did not want to play in LA for the Lakers.
Nobody even wants to give him the MLETrent is a scrub?
LOL.
Great. I hope he works on his FTs and his dribbling skills to avoid traveling. He has gotten better in both categories than when he was with Cleveland and Miami. Hopefully he will get there.
His numbers went down the last 2 years because his mpg went down. His shooting numbers have virtually stayed the same.Nobody even wants to give him the MLE

Not many teams have cap space this summer, more have space next summer. Victim of circumstance, not beccause he sucks. He is 25 years old.
C'mon, man. Do you even basketball?
