The Knicks improved but losing iHart hurts.

Mitch Rob cannot stay healthy.

yeah they need to stuff milton into that deal just so they can get the bigger apron and use a small mle on a backup center.

I will never get the "trade Embiid" movement. You will never get fair value for him and the chances of the team getting getting better than what they are right now is pretty slim.

I get the frustration of Embiid always getting hurt in the playoffs. But the team HAS to go all in and hope he DOES stay healthy.
It would need to be for elite young talent and/or extremely high value picks. Moving max contracts around with these new apron rules isn't going to be easy moving forward. How many times will you find a team with an almost empty cap like Philly this year to absorb that big of a free agent? Aggregating salaries hard-caps teams, which can prevent follow-up moves. Philly is in the position to do exactly what they are doing, need to take advantage of that prior cap planning.

Those options are fading fast too. Maybe simply trading a player for a backup center provides more options now.

My question for you is :

Am I correct in that by signing Harden, they couldn't sign PG? Or weren't willing to give him a max contract?
By giving up all those picks to get Harden, were they pot committed and chose Harden over PG?
They had his bird rights.

They could have signed both.

They were simply unwilling to give him max years at max money.

I believe Milton can fit into the deal as is

Thunder are set, I mean totally and completely set
Good deal. He fits them perfectly IMO.

I know I gave you a hard time last season but Presti has them on the verge of being a serious WC contender for years.

Gonna have to pay the piper in 4-5 but you got a damn good team.

Milton is a FA, would require a S&T

It’s weird I’m seeing him with a 5m salary for 24/25

Did Knicks have an option and decline it?

Probably.

But could they really put Paul back with Sloth?

That relationship didn’t end well.

True

It ended with Morey trading 3 firsts to downgrade at pg
