They may keep Reed and play him at PF for 20mpg or do.

But, trading him in a salary dump for a 2nd or 2 frees up almost 8 mill in cap space.

Seems that everyone in the east is trying to do something to counteract the Celtics. As one GM said, "Porzingis may be out until December or 2025. Doesn't matter. He'll be very rested for the playoffs and we need to try to keep Boston out of the playoffs."

Sounds like a plan. Except executing it could be a tough go.

So it's an advantage to not have your players play until later in the season.

I will never get the "trade Embiid" movement. You will never get fair value for him and the chances of the team getting getting better than what they are right now is pretty slim.

I get the frustration of Embiid always getting hurt in the playoffs. But the team HAS to go all in and hope he DOES stay healthy.
