Replacing DJJ with Klay and Marshall would be a hell of an upgrade for Dallas

They killing it this offseason.

Congrats.
I think it's the best move for what was out there.
Kind of aligns with Embiid's window.

I'm just not a fan of a max deal for an aging all-star.

That being said, if we had PG instead of Tobias, we probably beat the Knicks.
Still think we're far off from the Celts, but then again, most teams are.

I guess we need a 4 and we're good to go.
Too bad they can't swing a trade for Markkanen.

Then give PG his money.

Not this half in, half out bullshit.

Kawhi couldn’t play in the post season.

But the motherfucker gonna suit up for team USA?

Get all the way the fuck OUTTA HERE.

Harden can’t carry you to another first round exit in the playoffs when Kawhi misses the first 30 games.

I agree that they have No plan

Not even a good plan

No plan

If you knew you weren’t paying him 4 years you trade him in February or you go all in to find that missing piece

If they landed finney-smith maybe they survive round 1, get kawhi back….who knows

But what they’re doing now is just dumb

Need to get a decent bench together.

You could always stick somebody at the 4 who is a ghost starter. Some guy who plays defense, rebounds and hustles for 20mpg or so. Maybe Reed if he isn't traded to free up another 7.8 mill.

Bro, CP3 is a dick.

Some of the guys on your team hated him and he hated them back.

They played nice in the sandbox because they had to.

CP3 never wanted to play there.

He wanted to go back to the Clippers.

So without the big payday, I’m not surprised he left.

I am slightly surprised he picked the Spurs over the Lakers.

But money talks.

If true, The clippers also picked derick Jones jr over cp3

Got to love the irony that the official last move to end “The Process” era is signing an overrated superstar to a bloated deal for too many years.

Hopefully he falls off a cliff and the process dies

It's very sad. We're supposed to get excited about signing a 34 year old Paul George. Morey spent the coin in the most mediocre way possible.

What do you think they should have done instead?

PGII to Philly? NBCSports Boston says that this is imminent.

Seems that everyone in the east is trying to do something to counteract the Celtics. As one GM said, "Porzingis may be out until December or 2025. Doesn't matter. He'll be very rested for the playoffs and we need to try to keep Boston out of the playoffs."

Sounds like a plan. Except executing it could be a tough go.

The Nets with KD and Irving.

Or Leonard and PG with the Clipps.

Bigger failure? Both are pretty close.

I'm going with KD/Irving. They were dysfunctional.

Kawhi/PG failure was about health. You could maybe say that the Clips should have known better because of Kawhi's injury issues...but it's not like there weren't several other teams (including the Lakers) trying to sign him.

Yeah, that's probably the right one.

I’m going with the clippers simply because the nets lost out due to covid and then by a single shoe size

The clippers never came that close

Both were just bad luck for the nets

The clippers cost of acquisition was also beyond dumb and has to factor in

Too bad they can't swing a trade for Markkanen.

They didn't have the resources to get Markkanen. Ainge is going to want to see a deal that at least equals the Mihkal Bridges deal.

There were no perfect options. But getting someone like Paul George without having to give up any assets is a pretty easy decision.

Paul George
Andre Drummond
Eric Gordon
Resigned Kelly Oubre

Pretty satisfied with this.
