Loving that I'm hearing Caelen Carson is having a great camp. I usually don't pay attention until the pads come on, but for a CB, if anything, it's harder when the WR are in shorts and helmets with no pass rush

I saw that. Jesus man, every 7th grade team in Texas runs the shotgun, it's not that hard.
Beebe is so much more physical, it will be a disaster if he doesn't win the job. Hoffman will be a downgrade from Biadasz instead of an upgrade.
Zim loves Carson, Overshown and DWilson. He wants guys that will lay the lumber

I heard Mazi's position coach was up his ass the entire practice because he couldn't hold his leverage against anyone. Not good at all.
Zim is really happy with the back 7. I think the big nickel days are over. We will have LB's on the field to stop the run, not safeties

The more I hear about Mazi the more I fear my opinion of him based on last year was accurate. I just can’t shake the Trysten Hill thoughts. Now hearing the rookie 7th rounder is already outplaying him In camp. Just seems too plodding with no ability to get lateral or upfield to play the 3 and too weak and with poor leverage and gets pushed around too much to play NT. I am rooting so hard to be wrong on him.

Im hoping the 7th rounder is just a stud. Mazi would be a big miss. That said, if there's one thing this club really can't be faulted for(except last year), it's drafting. Makes it all the more mind boggling that they are haggling with their first team All Pro WR they drafted
