I am so "meh" on this season, that the good news is I have been so wrong in the past. Kings gonna pull a Vancouver of last year and do some work this year. On paper they got bigger and faster up front by a good amount. Back end is still an issue and Kuemper is a net wash with Talbot in my opinion. Saw a Youtube video on fantasy rankings for hockey and this guy thinks Kuemper is the buy low candidate of the summer. going from Washington at like 27th in defense to Kings apparently top 3. So maybe it all works out.

In my personal life I have a new motto and I have extended it beyond that to sports teams I like: "Maybe it just works out". I am allowing myself to acknowledge that maybe it's all good and just works out for the best.

I've been working on that myself too, as the years have gone by you start to realize the more you try and control things the less actual control you have. The universe gonna universe no matter what.

Good book I've been reading, it goes over this very concept. Another one is The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F**k by Mark Manson. Highly recommend both these books, the Manson one I've had for years but just got the other one.

Grand opening, grand closing. Apparently Burroughs hit him hard in a scrimmage.

Not a fan as you guys know but didn't want to see him hurt. Can't be showcased for a trade, and who knows how he will perform after he returns. I believe that was the plan all along, and he will probably go on LTIR so he can't be traded while recovering.

We can't make this shit up, what a strange sequence of events it's been for him the last year or so.

The real question will be if the Legend can play over 50 games this season now that he is super extra long time healthy

While PLD was a bust in LA in the grand scheme of the trade The Legend was the only real loss in that deal. None of the other players involved made a difference for the Jets.
