Watching some women’s match for a change. Gauff is playing pretty solid.

The Gauff forehand always sends the ball long in a long rally. That’s where Muchova aims toward every time to get the error

Muchova is really pushing herself to get the match leveled up. That lunge for the extra volley shows that. BG has done a good job with Gauff. That last point both had chances to win. Muchova is now scrambling to get to the net as much as she can her volley skills somewhat better and she has the advantage over Coco there.

Few loop holes in Gauff’s game but BG can fix all of that I think.

Women’s tennis is funny! She got blanked in the first set and was trailing all the way for the rest of the match and even faced match points I think but came out on top. Sabalenka’s game slowly but surely elevated higher and higher. Huge serve. Wonder if she would have much left for the finals. I think this is Gauff’s final to lose.

Medved has the look of a cornered rat! His back is against the wall. If he wins he will be inside the wall against Djoker!

Alcaraz getting badly outplayed by Medved. Alcaraz is very flat, and unless he can find a higher gear this is gonna be over for him in straight sets.

it’s a massacre. About to go down two sets to love. He has nothing impressive from his end of the court! Missing loads of first serves and can’t place the ball deep in the rallies! Medved is eating him up right now!

Carlitos got one (set) back. I hope he would keep his fist pumps a big subdued until he can level the match ( if he can that is)

Alcaraz error prone game came back again in the fourth and very predictably he lost. Medvedev’s cocky gesture after winning is gonna bite him in the ass when he loses to Djokovic in the final.

Congrats to Gauff. Wow, Rolex had an ad ready for her in case she won.

I picked her to win Wimbledon 2021, and make the USO Finals in 2021 and 2022. I stopped picking her to get to the Finals after that.

I'm glad Medvedev won against Alcaraz. It makes the Medvedev vs. Alcaraz rivalry more interesting if Medvedev wins a few. They're going to be meeting several more times in the future, and it would have been boring if this had been one sided.

Only Alcaraz could have made it closer and maybe won against Djokovic. Djokovic deserves his 24th slam and this despite not being able to play matches due to his Covid immunization restrictions.

Right now other than Alcaraz there is no “field” to talk about against the Djoker. There was a time when the field consisted of Fed and Nadal.

If Medvedev or Alcaraz can get a 2nd win at a major against Djokovic at a major soon, then they will be part of the "field".

If Nadal can return back to his usual level, he has a shot too.
